Do...
The African American Success Foundation
provides services that result in the collection and dissemination of information about
African American achievements. These services help AASF
build upon the study and science of African American success. These services are:
Information
Clearinghouse
- to identify, collect and disseminate information that highlights
the accomplishments and achievements of African Americans to focus attention on their many
successes, while countering negative stereotypes, myths and misinformation that often
characterize these individuals.
Scientific
Research
- to study the attitudes and behaviors
that characterize successful African Americans to identify key predictors and encourage
the perpetuation of that success
- to build the science of African American success and contribute to
the body of knowledge about African Americans.
Charitable
Support
- to reinforce the education of students and professionals who study
African American success and related issues by providing research fellowships and grants.
